The G.S.B. Mandal Thane Annual Day Celebrations on Sunday, 04th Jan' 2026 at VPM's Joshi/ Bedekar College Campus, Near CIDCO Bus Stop, Thane (West)-400601.
The detailed programme for the day will be as follows:
8.30 am Prayer
8.40 am Laghu Upahar
9.00 am Sports & Games
1.00 pm Lunch Break
2.00 pm Drawing Competition for children of various age groups. Drawing paper & pencil will be provided. Colors & other required items should be brought by the participants. Prarthana Stotram/Vyas Brahma Stotram Recitation competition for children.
3.00 pm Singing Competition (Devotional songs & bhajans only for different age groups).
4.00 pm Cricket Match for ladies, gents & children.
5.30 pm Tea Break
6.00 pm Elocution, Bhagwat Gita Chapter-12 Recitation & Fancy Dress Competitions: The topic for elocution competition ln Konkani will be POURANIC KATHA (Any Mythological Story).

We the Managing Committee of GSB Mandal Thane have decided to participate in large numbers during HH Shrimadh Sudhindra Thirtha Swamijees Janma Shatamanothsav program on Sunday 12 th October 2025 at Walkeshwar Sri Kashi math. For the convenience of all Thane Samaj Bhandavas, we decided to arrange FREE BUS service to Walkeshwar . Departure at 8 am near Mandals office , Thane and returning from Walkeshwar to Thane after Ratri Prasad bhojan, tentatively at 9 pm , reaching Thane by 11pm. We request all samaj bandhavas to attend this HH Swamijis Janma Shatabdi celebration function by Mumbai samaj.

Ram Pattabhishek. Accordingly, our Mandal will perform this event on Sat-26-Oct-2024 from 3pm onwards at Shet NKT
Thanawala College Sabhagriha, Kharkar Alee, Thane (W)-400601.
HH Srimad Samyamindra Teertha Swamiji will
grace this auspicious event and bless our Samaj.
HH will
be welcomed at the venue by Purna Kumbha Swagat. We suggest that all
participants should come in traditional attire (women in sarees & men in
dhotis/ veshtis). Many other unique Sevas will be offered to Prabhu Sri Ram on this occasion which
will be interesting to watch.
Many
Sevas have been proposed for this rare event. We request you to book your Seva
online as there will be no house-to-house collection for this event. Every
Sevedar will get a Stainless Steel Container with 5 different sweets along with

Bus to start at 6.45 am sharp from Mandal Office. Return journey will start after Ratri Bhojan on the same day.

We are planning to arrange transport for the convenience of devotees for attending the following two important upcoming Utsavs:
1) Rathotsav at Dahisar Sri Kashi Math on Mon, 18th Dec’23 (Free Transport).
2) Varadanthi Utsav at Nasik Sri Kashi Math on Thu, 21st Dec’23 (Paid Transport)
The exact nature of the transport will depend on the number of yatris willing to join. We request the members to register the names of yatris interested in availing the transport, by Whatsapp to our Trip Coordinators Shri Dinkar Bhandarkar (9820831360) or Shri Haridas Pai (9987506227) on/before 5th Dec’23. Late registration may end in disappointment.
Further details of the trip will be conveyed once the number of yatris is finalized. Kindly contact our Trip Coordinators for queries if any.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is convened on Sun, 13-Aug-2023 at 11 am at our Mandal premises. On popular demand from our Samaj Bandhavas and to promote environment friendly practices, our Mandal has decided to stop printing AGM reports, to save paper & trees.
